The Plaza Live Customers Reviews
Franti is amazing, but SKIP the Canyon Club !!!
Everyone deserves Music, and Michael Franti is an ambassador of the human experience with a gleam in his eye, and a smile in his heart., and a beat to rock your soul.
BUT FORGET THE CANYON CLUB - a more expensive, more uncomfortable venue does not exist. After paying the $60+ each to get in, we were forced to spend another $50+ per their rules on food/drinks to justify our seats. ( fine print said $25 minimum, but guess what? There were no $25 plates.) Food choices were meat meat and meat, and none of us could chew the low quality cuts. I should have just handed them my credit card and skipped the meal altogether.
Really, I have seen Michael for Free, for $10, for $30 for $40. But that night cost the 3 of us over $400. I would gladly donate that to any of Michael's foundations and good works, but to a cavern like the Canyon Club, forget it. Never ever ever again will we go there. And we traveled from Tahoe just to see him after seeing him in our home town the week before.
